LAGOA FM 87,9

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Associação Comunitária e Cultural de Lagoa da Prata (ACLAP), CNPJ 02.898.110/0001-48, the organization behind Rádio LAGOA FM 87,9, handles personal data on the station's official website, in line with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018 — LGPD).

1. Who controls the data

Controller: Associação Comunitária e Cultural de Lagoa da Prata (ACLAP)
CNPJ: 02.898.110/0001-48
Address: Rua José Bernardes Lobato, 455, Suite 01 — Centro · Lagoa da Prata, MG — Postal code 35590-040
Contact email: radiolagoa@gmail.com

For privacy and data-protection questions, use the email above with the subject line “Privacy — LAGOA FM”.

2. What we collect

The site is mostly informational. We collect or process personal data only in the situations below:

  • Song request / shout-out form: your name, WhatsApp number, and the text of the request, which you provide voluntarily. This data is not stored on a server of our own — when you send it, the site only builds a message and opens WhatsApp on your device so you can confirm sending it to the station.
  • Direct contact: if you write to us by email, phone, or WhatsApp, we process what we need in order to reply (for example, your name, phone number, and the content of the message).
  • Visit metrics (analytics): we use Vercel Web Analytics to measure site visits in aggregate (pages viewed, traffic source, country, device type). This tool does not use tracking cookies and does not identify visitors individually.
  • Automatic technical data: when you open the site or the live player, your browser may send ordinary technical information (IP address, browser type, operating system) to the hosting and streaming services needed to deliver the content.

3. What we use the data for

  • To handle song requests, shout-outs, and dedications from listeners;
  • To reply to commercial, institutional, and support messages;
  • To measure how the site performs and how far it reaches (aggregate analytics);
  • To keep the site and the online stream running;
  • To meet legal duties that apply to a community station.

4. Legal basis (LGPD)

We process personal data on these grounds:

  • Consent — when you fill in the form and confirm sending it through WhatsApp;
  • Steps taken at your request before a contract — to process your song request or message;
  • Legitimate interest — for aggregate visit metrics and site security;
  • Compliance with a legal or regulatory duty — when the law requires it.

5. Sharing with third parties

We share data only when it is needed to run the site and respond to you:

  • WhatsApp / Meta: once you confirm the form, your data is handled under WhatsApp's policy, outside this site.
  • Vercel: site hosting and aggregate visit analytics.
  • Streaming provider: the technical service that delivers live audio in the site player.
  • Instagram: when you open our profiles or the social links shown on the site.

We do not sell personal data.

6. How long we keep the data

  • Site form: we do not store the data in a database of our own. It stays in the WhatsApp conversation and in the station's internal records for as long as we need to handle the request and meet legal duties.
  • Email and phone: kept for as long as needed to respond, and in the station's records where that applies.
  • Analytics: aggregate data, under the hosting provider's policy.

7. Your rights

You may, at any time, ask for:

  • Confirmation that we are processing your data;
  • Access, correction, or an update;
  • Anonymization, blocking, or deletion of data we do not need;
  • Portability, where it applies;
  • Withdrawal of consent;
  • Information about sharing that has already happened.

To use these rights, email radiolagoa@gmail.com with the subject line “LGPD rights — LAGOA FM”. We will reply within the time the law allows.

8. Security

We use technical measures suited to this site (secure hosting, a static site, no form storage on a server of our own, and encrypted HTTPS). No system is fully immune to incidents. If a relevant data breach happens, we will take the steps the LGPD requires.

9. Children and teens

The site is not aimed at knowingly collecting data from minors. Requests sent by minors should have a parent or guardian's consent where that applies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this document when the site or the law changes. The date of the latest revision is at the top of this page. Please check it from time to time.

11. National authority

If you believe your rights were not respected, you may file a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD), under the LGPD.
